About
Independent rate tracking.
AustralianRates is an open-source public data dashboard for Australian home-loan, savings, and term-deposit rates.
Who operates this site
AustralianRates is maintained as an open-source project by yanniedog.
This site is independently run and is not owned by, or acting for, any lender listed on the platform.
Questions, corrections, or data-quality reports: support@australianrates.com.
Methodology and update cadence
Rates are sourced primarily from public Consumer Data Right (CDR) product feeds, with benchmark cash-rate data from the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA).
Public dashboards are updated from scheduled ingestion runs, and include product-level time series keyed by canonical product_key identity.
Coverage focuses on major Australian institutions and may not include every lender, product variant, or short-term promotional offer.
Corrections and data quality
If you identify a discrepancy, email support@australianrates.com with the page URL, lender, product context, and observed date.
Reported issues are reviewed against source feeds and corrected in subsequent runs when validated.
Home-loan comparison rate disclosure
Where available, home-loan comparison rates are shown alongside advertised rates. A standard benchmark used in Australia references a loan amount of $150,000 over a 25 year term.
Actual loan cost depends on your own loan amount, term, fees, and product usage patterns.
Commercial independence
AustralianRates is a transparency-focused data project. No personal credit assistance, brokerage service, or lender-representative service is provided.
If sponsorship or paid placement models are introduced in future, disclosure language will be updated in the Terms and page-level notices.
Not financial advice
Information on this site is general in nature and does not consider your personal objectives or circumstances.
Always confirm rates and product terms directly with the lender before making financial decisions.
Support and corrections
If you need to report an issue, include the page URL, lender, product name, and observed date so the discrepancy can be verified quickly.
